The many facilities include the fine pool, table tennis, a boules court, kids play and games areas and badminton.
There is also a well stocked large library with TV, wifi, an information board, tourist brochures and toys.
The laundry has two washing machines.The tennis court in Arques is available.
Three marked trails (20mins - 1.15hrs) meander through the domaine for your enjoyment. The estate has beautiful views south to the Pyrenees. Eight donkeys and two horses do a fine job keeping undergrowth down and the land cleared. We have our own delicious spring water, tested 4x a year by the authorities and non chemically treated. The sky at night is remarkably free of light pollution.

Arques (3.50km) is asmall village of 200 people with a café/restaurant, village shop, bakery, post office, Cathare museum, tennis, fishing, 2 riding stables and a small lake ideal for boating kids.

The endless variety of marked trails are spectacular for hiking, riding (stables in Arques with our friend Jacques RAYNAUD) and mountain biking, and the roads are very popular with road bikers, being very clear of cars. Mountain bikes can be hired nearby. There is excellent fishing in the river Aude and an 18 hole golf course at Carcassonne.

Two villages, Rennes les Bains and Alet les Bains have thermal spas where you can be pampered with all sorts of relaxing treatments and therapies and curative spring waters. Rennes les Bains has an outdoor pool filled with naturally hot spring water where one can swim whatever the weather. Alet les Bains also has a large outdoor pool refilled daily by the same spring water they sell bottled! |

Sports For sports enthusiasts this region has much to offer. There are well organised white water sports in the waters of the river Aude. These include rafting, hydro speed, kayaking and canoeing in the calmer parts.
